The answer key matters
as much as the questions.

A worksheet is only as useful as its answer key. Most printable worksheets show just the final answer — which tells you that a child got it wrong, not where.

Shows working, not just answers

Long division, fraction simplification, and multi-step problems include step-by-step solutions so parents and teachers can pinpoint the exact step where a child's method breaks down.

📂

Grouped by topic, not jumbled

Problems are grouped by concept — all fraction questions together, all decimal questions together — rather than randomly mixed. This lets a student practise one skill deeply before moving on.

📋

Matches the CBSE syllabus

Topics and difficulty follow the CBSE-NCERT syllabus for each class, not a generic international grade level. Class 5 fractions ≠ Grade 5 fractions in the US — the scope and sequence differ significantly.

When to print, when to practise online

Printable worksheets and adaptive online practice solve different problems. Knowing which to use — and when — makes both more effective.

📄

Print works best for…

Focused offline sessions, exam preparation, timed practice, travel, and classrooms with unreliable internet. Writing by hand reinforces memory encoding differently from typing.

📱

Online works best for…

Daily short sessions, immediate feedback, tracking progress across topics, and identifying gaps automatically. The system adjusts difficulty so a child is always working at the right level — neither bored nor overwhelmed.

Questions about the worksheets

A CBSE-aligned worksheet matches the topics, difficulty, and vocabulary from the NCERT textbook for that class — not just a generic 'Grade 5' label. For example, a Class 5 fractions worksheet covers proper/improper/mixed fractions as introduced in CBSE Chapter 4, not equivalent fractions which appear later in Class 6.
Printing the answer key on the same page defeats the purpose — students can see it while working. Each download includes a student version (questions only) and a teacher/parent version (with complete answers and working), sized to the same page so they can be kept separate.
Both. For operations that have intermediate steps — long division, fraction simplification, two-step problems — the answer key shows the working so you can see exactly where a child's method went wrong, not just that the answer was incorrect.
Yes. The grade packs are divided by CBSE class: Class 1–2 covers addition and subtraction up to 3 digits; Class 3–4 covers multiplication, division, and fractions intro; Class 5–6 covers fractions, decimals, and ratios; Class 7–8 covers integers, algebra, and geometry.
Yes, with minor adjustments. The core topics — arithmetic operations, fractions, decimals, basic algebra and geometry — overlap almost completely between CBSE and ICSE at the primary level. The main ICSE difference is terminology and some topic ordering, which doesn't affect these fundamental practice worksheets.
New packs are added as topics are generated. The adaptive online practice generates new problems every session, so even if a specific PDF isn't available yet, the equivalent topic can be practised online without any download.
